A bicycle insurer client wanted to increase acquisition and build trust and connection with its customer base via a tangible product.
We designed an engagement called Life Saver. LifeSaver is a modern solution to the fundamental concern that individuals have when they have an accident and are unconscious, “who will speak for me, when I can’t speak for myself”. Based on modern smartcard technology (NFC and QR codes), the card provides emergency first responders with important medical and contact information for the injured individual.
The program demonstrates our client’s commitment to customers and leverages powerful marketing and engagement opportunities to increase brand value and boost customer advocacy and retention. A ‘refer a friend’ program is included.
Of the thousands of the accident or emergency incidents that occur daily, up to 30% of hospital admissions are unable to identify themselves. They are injured, unconscious or too shocked to speak coherently.
The insurer branded ICE card and emergency contact wristband provide emergency first responders (using their own smartphones) vital information that people want them to know i.e. next of kin, blood type, medication, etc. (or even if they are a primary care giver for a vulnerable person or a pet).
